माता पार्वती ने उबटन से बालक बनाया, प्राण फूँक कर अपना लाडला बनाया। द्वार पर पहरा देने को आदेश दिया, सत्य मार्ग पर चलने का उपदेश दिया।
Transliteration
Mata Parvati ne ubtan se baalak banaya, Praan phoonk kar apna laadla banaya. Dwaar par pehra dene ko aadesh diya, Satya maarg par chalne ka upadesh diya.
Meaning / Translation
Mother Parvati created a child from sandalwood paste, and by breathing life into him, made him her beloved son. She commanded him to guard the entrance, instructing him to follow the path of truth.
The Divine Conflict (Sangram)

जब महादेव आए, हुआ भीषण संग्राम, बालक ने रोका पथ, किया शिव का अपमान। क्रोध में आकर शिव ने, शीश काट गिराया, माता के शोक से, सारा जग थर्राया।
Transliteration
Jab Mahadev aaye, hua bhishan sangram, Baalak ne roka path, kiya Shiv ka apmaan. Krodh mein aakar Shiv ne, sheesh kaat giraya, Mata ke shok se, saara jag tharraya.
Meaning / Translation
When Lord Shiva arrived, a fierce battle ensued; the child blocked his path and unintentionally defied him. In anger, Shiva severed the boy's head, and the entire world trembled at Mother Parvati's grief.
The Rebirth (Punah Janm)

गज मुख लगाकर, शिव ने किया संवर, गजानन कहलाए, जगत के पालनहार। ऋद्धि-सिद्धि संग विराजे, देवों के देव, विघ्न विनाशक बन, मिटाते सब क्लेश।
Transliteration
Gaj mukh lagakar, Shiv ne kiya sanwar, Gajanan kehlaaye, jagat ke paalanhaar. Riddhi-Siddhi sang viraaje, devon ke dev, Vighna vinashak ban, mitaate sab klesh.
Meaning / Translation
By attaching an elephant's head, Shiva restored him, and he became known as Gajanan, the sustainer of the universe. Seated with Riddhi (Prosperity) and Siddhi (Spiritual Power), he is the God of Gods, the destroyer of obstacles who removes all suffering.

प्रथम पूज्य कहलाते, सब देवों में प्रधान, गणपति बप्पा मोरया, देते सबको ज्ञान। सब शुभ कार्यों में, जिनका नाम है प्रथम, वही हैं देवों में, सबसे परम।
Transliteration
Pratham poojya kehlate, sab devon mein pradhan, Ganpati Bappa Morya, dete sabko gyaan. Sab shubh kaaryon mein, jinka naam hai pratham, Vahi hain devon mein, sabse param.
Meaning / Translation
He is called the first to be worshipped, the foremost among all gods; Ganpati Bappa Morya, who bestows wisdom upon all. In every auspicious task, his name is invoked first; he is the most supreme among the deities.
