सुनहरी रेत, सुनहरी है ये नगरी, जैसलमेर की महिमा है सबसे न्यारी। धोरों की धरती, देवों का वास, हर कण में यहाँ है, अटूट विश्वास।
Transliteration
Sunahari ret, sunahari hai yeh nagari, Jaisalmer ki mahima hai sabse nyari. Dhoron ki dharti, devon ka vaas, Har kan mein yahan hai, atoot vishwas.
Meaning / Translation
Golden sands, golden is this city, The glory of Jaisalmer is unique above all. The land of sand dunes, the abode of gods, In every grain here, lies unbreakable faith.
Stanza 2: The Golden Fort

स्वर्ण दुर्ग की ऊँची दीवारें, कहती हैं यहाँ की गौरवशाली बातें। सूरज की किरणों में चमकता ये धाम, जैसलमेर की धरती को कोटि प्रणाम।
Transliteration
Swarna durg ki unchi deewaren, Kehti hain yahan ki gauravshali baaten. Suraj ki kirno mein chamakta yeh dhaam, Jaisalmer ki dharti ko koti pranam.
Meaning / Translation
The high walls of the golden fort, Tell the glorious tales of this land. This abode shines in the rays of the sun, Millions of salutations to the land of Jaisalmer.
Stanza 3: Spiritual Essence

भक्ति की खुशबू, रेगिस्तान की हवा, जैसे मिल गई हो, मन को दवा। साधु और संतों की ये पावन भूमि, यहाँ हर पल बसती है, ईश्वर की भूमि।
Transliteration
Bhakti ki khushbu, registan ki hawa, Jaise mil gayi ho, mann ko dawa. Sadhu aur santo ki yeh paawan bhoomi, Yahan har pal basti hai, Ishwar ki bhoomi.
Meaning / Translation
The fragrance of devotion, the desert wind, Is like a medicine for the soul. This is the sacred land of sages and saints, Here, every moment, the land of God resides.
