Transliteration
Kashi ki paavan nagari, Shiv ki ananya sharan. Ganga ki lehron mein basta, jag ka sakal samarpan.
Meaning / Translation
The holy city of Kashi, the unique refuge of Lord Shiva. In the waves of the Ganges dwells the total surrender of the entire world.

घाटों पे गूँजती शंख ध्वनि, आरती की पावन थाली। मणिकर्णिका की अग्नि साक्षी, जीवन की अंतिम लाली।
Transliteration
Ghaton pe goonjti shankh dhvani, aarti ki paavan thaali. Manikarnika ki agni saakshi, jeevan ki antim laali.
Meaning / Translation
The sound of conches echoes upon the ghats, alongside the sacred plates of the Aarti. The sacred fire of Manikarnika stands witness to the final glow of life.

Deepon ki jagmag lau chamke, Aghor roop ka dhyaan. Shambhu ke charnon mein arpit, bhakti ka ye gaan.
