बालों का त्याग, शुद्धि का सार। बालक पर बरसे, ईश्वर का प्यार। पुराने कर्मों का, हो अब विसर्जन। पावन हो जाए, नन्हा जीवन।
Transliteration
Baalon ka tyaag, shuddhi ka saar. Baalak par barse, Ishwar ka pyaar. Purane karmon ka, ho ab visarjan. Paavan ho jaaye, nannha jeevan.
Meaning / Translation
The shedding of hair is the essence of purification. May the child be showered with divine love. May the old karmas be washed away, and may this little life become pure and sacred.

तेज बढ़े, बुद्धि बढ़े, बढ़े मान। चमके जैसे, जग में नक्षत्र समान। ज्ञान की गंगा, हृदय में बहे। बालक सदा, सन्मार्ग पर रहे।

Tej badhe, buddhi badhe, badhe maan. Chamke jaise, jag mein nakshatra samaan. Gyaan ki ganga, hriday mein bahe. Baalak sada, sanmarg par rahe.
