We'll use this to share your kundli and occasional updates.
How to read your Kundli
Your Kundli, or Janam Kundali, is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment and place of your birth. It is drawn as twelve houses (bhavas), each governing an area of life, self, wealth, siblings, home, children, health, marriage, longevity, fortune, career, gains, and losses, with the planets placed in the signs (rashis) they occupied at that instant.
Start with the ascendant, or Lagna, marked as 'Asc' on the chart. It is the sign rising on the eastern horizon at your birth time and it fixes the reference point for every house, which is why an accurate birth time matters. Next, look at your Moon sign (Rashi) and birth star (Nakshatra): these shape your mind and emotions and are the traditional basis for your name, muhurat, and daily Rashifal.
What the planets and Dasha tell you
Each planet is shown in the sign and house it occupies. A planet's placement, the houses it rules, and its relationships with other planets are read together to judge its influence, natural benefics like Jupiter and Venus, natural malefics like Saturn, Mars, Rahu, and Ketu, and functional roles that depend on your ascendant.
The Vimshottari Dasha table maps your life into planetary periods (Mahadashas) across a 120-year cycle, each sub-divided into Antardashas. Your currently running Mahadasha is highlighted, indicating which planet is most active in your life right now. This free chart is computed with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsha and whole-sign houses, the standard followed by the Indian government and most Vedic astrologers. For a detailed reading of yogas, doshas, and remedies, treat this chart as a starting point and consult a qualified astrologer.
