दीपज्योतिः परब्रह्म दीपज्योतिर्जनार्दनः। दीपो ज्योतिर्नमोऽस्तु सर्वपापप्रणाशनम्॥
Transliteration
Deepajyotih Parabrahma Deepajyotir Janardanah | Deepo Jyotirnamostu Sarvapapa Pranashanam ||
Meaning / Translation
The light of the lamp is the Supreme Brahman; the light of the lamp is Janardana (Vishnu). I bow to the light of the lamp, which destroys all sins.

O Lord with a curved trunk and a massive body, whose splendor is equal to millions of suns, please make all my works free of obstacles, always.

Auspicious is Lord Vishnu, auspicious is the one with the Garuda flag. Auspicious is the lotus-eyed Lord, may Hari bestow auspiciousness upon us.
