Stanza 1: The Illusion of Maya

माया का जाल है यह सारा संसार, दिखता जो सत्य, वह है केवल भ्रम का विस्तार। सत्य तो केवल वह है जो अपरिवर्तित रहे, बाकी सब तो समय के प्रवाह में बह जाए।
Transliteration
Maya ka jaal hai yeh saara sansar, Dikhta jo satya, woh hai keval bhram ka vistar. Satya toh keval woh hai jo aparivartit rahe, Baaki sab toh samay ke pravah mein beh jaaye.
Meaning / Translation
This entire world is a web of Maya (illusion), What appears to be truth is merely an expansion of delusion. Truth is only that which remains unchanging, Everything else flows away in the stream of time.
Stanza 2: The Nature of Atman

न शरीर ही आत्मा है, न मन का है वास, अन्तर्मन की गहराई में छिपा है परम प्रकाश। न जन्म है इसका, न मृत्यु का कोई भय, शाश्वत है आत्मा, जो स्वयं में ही लय है।
Transliteration
Na shareer hi atma hai, na mann ka hai vaas, Antarman ki gehraayi mein chipa hai param prakash. Na janm hai iska, na mrityu ka koi bhay, Shashwat hai atma, jo swayam mein hi lay hai.
Meaning / Translation
The body is not the soul, nor does the soul reside in the mind, In the depths of the inner self, the supreme light is hidden. It has no birth, and there is no fear of death, The soul is eternal, finding rhythm within itself.
Stanza 3: The Great Oneness (Aham Brahmasmi)

अहं ब्रह्मास्मि, मैं ही वह अनंत, ब्रह्म से भिन्न नहीं, मैं हूँ स्वयं का अंत। तत्वमसि का स्वर गूँजे कण-कण में, ईश्वर का अंश बसा है मेरे ही जीवन में।
Transliteration
Aham Brahmasmi, main hi woh anant, Brahma se bhinn nahi, main hoon swayam ka ant. Tat Tvam Asi ka swar goonje kan-kan mein, Ishwar ka ansh basa hai mere hi jeevan mein.
Meaning / Translation
I am Brahman, I am that infinity, I am not different from Brahman; I am my own ultimate end. The chant of 'Thou art That' echoes in every atom, A fragment of the Divine resides within my very life.
Stanza 4: Liberation (Moksha)

ज्ञान की अग्नि से मिटे अज्ञान का अंधेरा, जब समझ आ जाए, यह जगत नहीं तेरा। मोक्ष ही वह मिलन है, आत्मा और ब्रह्म का, मिट जाए द्वैत, और उदय हो अद्वैत का।
Transliteration
Gyan ki agni se mite agyan ka andhera, Jab samajh aa jaaye, yeh jagat nahi tera. Moksha hi woh milan hai, atma aur brahma ka, Mit jaaye dvait, aur uday ho advait ka.
Meaning / Translation
The darkness of ignorance is destroyed by the fire of knowledge, When one realizes, 'this world is not yours' (not the true self). Liberation is that union of the Soul and Brahman, Where duality vanishes and Non-duality (Advaita) arises.
