Transliteration

Meaning / Translation

The Sapindikarana Mantra (The Union)

अद्य सपिण्डकरणं त्वां पितृभ्यः सपिण्डकृतः भव । सपिण्डे सपिण्डं जातं त्वामुपैति पितृलोकम् ॥

Transliteration

Adya sapindakaranam tvam pitribhyah sapindakritah bhava | Sapinde sapindam jatam tvamupaiti pitrulokam ||

Meaning / Translation

Today, through the rite of Sapindikarana, may you become one with the ancestors. Having become one with the Pinda (the essence), may you attain the realm of the Pitrus (ancestors).
