Invocation to the Naga Kings

नमोऽस्तु नागराजाय सर्पानां भीमरूपिणे । अनन्ताय च शेषाय वासुकिं च नमाम्यहम् ॥
Transliteration
Namo'stu Nāgarājāya sarpānāṃ bhīmarūpiṇe | Anantāya ca śeṣāya vāsukiṃ ca namāmyaham ||
Meaning / Translation
I bow to the King of Serpents, the fearsome form of all snakes. I bow to Ananta, to Shesha, and to Vasuki.

शेषनागं महानागं तक्षकं कालियं तथा । नागकान्तं महानागं प्रणमामि सदा नराः ॥
Transliteration
Śeṣanāgaṃ mahānāgaṃ takṣakaṃ kāliyaṃ tathā | Nāgakāntaṃ mahānāgaṃ praṇamāmi sadā narāḥ ||
Meaning / Translation
I always bow to Sheshanaga, the great Naga, Takshaka, Kaliya, and the beloved of the Nagas.

सर्पराजाय देवतायै नागनाग महिषीभ्यः । रक्ष मां सर्वदा देव सर्वसर्प भयात् ॥
Transliteration
Sarparājāya devatāyai nāganāga mahiṣībhyaḥ | Rakṣa māṃ sarvadā deva sarvasarpa bhayāt ||
Meaning / Translation
To the King of Serpents and the divine Naga deities, please protect me always from the fear of all serpents.
