Kashi ke paavan tat par, Ganga ki behti dhaara, Ghaton ki aarti se, mehke saara sansaar.

On the sacred banks of Kashi, where the Ganges flows continuously, the essence of the Ghats' Aarti perfumes the entire world.

शंखों की ध्वनि गूंजे, दीपों की है लौ, हर हर महादेव का, गूंजे मधुर स्वर।

Shankhon ki dhwani goonje, deepon ki hai lau, Har Har Mahadev ka, goonje madhur swar.
