वट वृक्ष की शीतल छाया, धागा बांधने आयी रे। श्रद्धा भाव से सब सुहागिन, पूजा करने आयी रे।

Transliteration

Vat vruksha ki sheetal chhaya, dhaga bandhne aayi re. Shraddha bhaav se sab suhagin, pooja karne aayi re.

Meaning / Translation

In the cool shade of the Banyan tree, they have come to tie the sacred thread. All the married women have come to perform the puja with deep devotion.

Shiv aur Parvati ki jodi, jag mein sabse pyaari re. Akhand saubhagya ka vardaan, Maa Parvati se maanga re.
