Transliteration
Om Jai Shiv Omkara, Swami Jai Shiv Omkara. Brahma Vishnu Sadashiva, Ardhangini Dhara. Om Jai Shiv Omkara.
Meaning / Translation
Glory to Shiva, the embodiment of Om. Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiva reside within Him; He is the one who possesses the half-female form (Ardhanarishvara).

एकानन चतुरानन पंचानन राजे। हेमभूषन चन्द्रमौलि भेष राजे॥ ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा।
Transliteration
Ekanan Chaturanan Panchanan Raje. Hemabhushan Chandramouli Bhesh Raje. Om Jai Shiv Omkara.
Meaning / Translation
He is adorned with one, four, or five faces; He is decorated with gold and wears the moon upon His head.

दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज दसभुज अति सोहे। त्रिगुण रूप निरखते त्रिभुवन सोहे॥ ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा।
Transliteration
Do bhuja chaar chaturbhuj dashbhuja ati sohe. Trigun roop nirakhte tribhuvan sohe. Om Jai Shiv Omkara.
Meaning / Translation
Whether He appears with two, four, or ten arms, He looks magnificent. His three elemental qualities (Gunas) adorn the three worlds.

अघमर्दन मदन मर्दन काल मर्दन मर्दन। सर्व व्याधि विनाशन शिव मंगल करन॥ ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा।
Transliteration
Aghamardan Madan Mardan Kaal Mardan Mardan. Sarva vyadhi vinashan Shiv mangal karan. Om Jai Shiv Omkara.
Meaning / Translation
He is the destroyer of sins, the destroyer of desire, and the destroyer of Death itself. He destroys all ailments and brings auspiciousness to all.

सोलह सोमवार व्रत जो कोई नर गावे। शिव की कृपा पावे सुख सम्पति पावे॥ ॐ जय शिव ओंकारा।
Transliteration
Solah Somvaar vrat jo koi nar gaave. Shiv ki kripa paave sukh sampati paave. Om Jai Shiv Omkara.
Meaning / Translation
Whoever observes the sixteen Monday fast and sings these praises, shall receive the grace of Lord Shiva and attain happiness and prosperity.
