मनोबुद्धिअहंकारचित्तानि नाहं न च श्रोत्रजिह्वे न च घ्राणनेत्रे । न च व्योम भूमिर्न तेजो न वायुः चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहं शिवोऽहम् ॥
Transliteration
Mano buddhi ahankara chittani naham na cha shrotra jihve na cha ghraana netre | Na cha vyoma bhumir na tejo na vayuh | Chidananda rupah shivoham shivoham ||
Meaning / Translation
I am not the mind, the intellect, the ego, or the subconscious memory. I am not the ears, the tongue, the nose, or the eyes. I am not space, earth, fire, or air. I am the form of consciousness and bliss, I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
Verse 2: Beyond Life and Death

न च प्राणसंयमातिक्रमणोन न मे मृत्युर्न शंको न मे भयम् । न च मे व्याधिर्न मे रोचति किञ्चिद् चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहं शिवोऽहम् ॥
Transliteration
Na cha prana samyamaatikramono na me mrityur na shankoh na me bhayam | Na cha me vyadhir na me rochati kinchid | Chidananda rupah shivoham shivoham ||
Meaning / Translation
I am not subject to the control of the vital breath. I have no death, no doubt, and no fear. I have no disease, and nothing in this world attracts me. I am the form of consciousness and bliss, I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
Verse 3: Beyond Emotion and Desire

न मे द्वेषरागौ न मे लोभमोहौ मदो नैव मे नैव मात्सर्यभावः । न धर्मो न चार्थो न कामो न मोक्षो चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहं शिवोऽहम् ॥
Transliteration
Na me dwesha raagau na me lobha mohau mado naiva me naiva maatsarya bhaavah | Na dharmo na cha artho na kaamo na moksho | Chidananda rupah shivoham shivoham ||
Meaning / Translation
I have no hatred or attachment, no greed or delusion, no pride or jealousy. I have no duty (Dharma), no wealth (Artha), no desire (Kama), and no need for liberation (Moksha). I am the form of consciousness and bliss, I am Shiva, I am Shiva.

न मे पुत्रौ न बन्धुर्न मे वृद्धिर्न मे क्षयः न मित्रं गुरुर्न च काव्यं न मे ज्ञानं न मे स्मृतिः । न मे मृत्युर्न मे जन्म न मे जातिर्न मे वर्णः चिदानन्दरूपः शिवोऽहं शिवोऽहम् ॥
Transliteration
Na me putrau na bandhur na me vriddhir na me kshayah na mitram gurur na cha kaavyam na me jnaanam na me smritih | Na me mrityur na me janma na me jaatir na me varnah | Chidananda rupah shivoham shivoham ||
Meaning / Translation
I have no children, no relatives, no increase, and no decrease. I have no friend, no teacher, no scriptures, no knowledge, and no memory. I have no death, no birth, no caste, and no creed. I am the form of consciousness and bliss, I am Shiva, I am Shiva.
