Transliteration
vedānuddharate jagannivahate bhūgarbhitām | makairmakarālayairmathyamānaiḥ salilairaham || jaya jagadīśa hare
Meaning / Translation
O Lord of the universe, Hari! You uplifted the Vedas (from the demon Hayagriva) and bore the earth (on Your horn) when it was submerged in the cosmic waters, churned by the great crocodiles. Victory to You, Lord of the world!

Transliteration
mandarācalamandāraṁ mathanaṁ mandarodaram | kūrmarūpeṇa dhārayannabhavatpuṇḍarīkākṣa || jaya jagadīśa hare
Meaning / Translation
O Lotus-eyed One! In the form of a tortoise, You supported the Mandara mountain (which served as the churning rod) on Your back during the churning of the ocean of milk. Victory to You, Lord of the world!

Transliteration
vasundharāmapi vasudhāṁ varāharūpeṇa bibharti yaḥ | yasya nābhāvidāreṇa bhāti līlāvilāsinī || jaya jagadīśa hare
Meaning / Translation
He who bore the earth (Vasundhara) on His tusks in the form of a boar; from whose navel the lotus of creation (the playful cosmic manifestation) shines forth. Victory to You, Lord of the world!

Meaning / Translation
In the form of the Man-Lion, You burned the demon Hiranyakashipu and tore him apart with Your sharp claws, O King of kings! Victory to You, Lord of the world!

chalayatribhuvanaṁ vāmanaḥ padena nabhaḥ kṛtavān | balindrasya śirasi caraṇaṁ sthāpayannabhavad dhruvam || jaya jagadīśa hare
Meaning / Translation
As the dwarf Vamana, You deceived the three worlds (by asking for three steps of land) and with Your stride covered the heavens; You firmly placed Your foot on the head of King Bali. Victory to You, Lord of the world!

kṣatriyāntakarī kṛpā paraśurāmo bhavatprabhuḥ | kṣatriyāṇāṁ kulaṁ hantuṁ sahasrabāhuṁ jahāra ha || jaya jagadīśa hare
Meaning / Translation
O Lord Parashurama, Your grace destroys the Kshatriya race (when they become tyrannical); to annihilate their clans, You slew the thousand-armed Kartavirya Arjuna. Victory to You, Lord of the world!
