Matsya roop dharn kiya, pralay jal se sabko bachaya. Vedon ka bhi bharan kiya, srishti ko phir se basaya.
Meaning / Translation
He took the form of a fish and saved all living beings from the great flood. He preserved the Vedas and re-established creation.

Transliteration
Kurma roop dharn kiya, Mandarachal ko aadhar diya. Samudra manthan ke samay, devon ko amrit pradan kiya.
Meaning / Translation
He took the form of a tortoise and served as the foundation for Mount Mandara. During the churning of the ocean, he helped the gods obtain the nectar of immortality.

Varaha roop dharn kiya, Hiranyaksha ka vadh kiya. Prithvi ko jal se nikala, brahmand ka kalyan kiya.

He took the form of a boar and slew the demon Hiranyaksha. He lifted the Earth out of the cosmic waters and blessed the universe.

Narasimha roop dharn kiya, Prahlad ki raksha ki. Hiranyakashipu ka ant kar, dharma ki vijay ki.

He took the form of a half-man, half-lion and protected his devotee Prahlada. He destroyed the demon Hiranyakashipu and established the victory of righteousness.

The Lord will descend in the form of Kalki to end the age of Kali Yuga. By destroying unrighteousness, he will usher in the Golden Age of Satya Yuga.
