Transliteration
Namo Devyai Mahadevyai Shive Sarvartha Sadhike. Sharanye Tryambake Gauri Narayani Namostute.
Meaning / Translation

आदि शक्ति तुम ही हो, आदि अनंत स्वरूप। ब्रह्मा विष्णु महेश भी, तुमसे ही जग रूप॥
Transliteration
Adi Shakti tum hi ho, adi anant swaroop. Brahma Vishnu Mahesh bhi, tumse hi jag roop.
Meaning / Translation
You are the Primordial Power, the beginningless and endless form. Even Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva take their cosmic forms through you.

सत्व रज तम गुणों को, तुम ही करती संहार। माया रूप में रचती हो, सारा यह संसार॥
Transliteration
Sattva Raja Tama gunon ko, tum hi karti sanhaar. Maya roop mein rachti ho, saara yeh sansaar.
Meaning / Translation
You govern and transform the three qualities (Gunas) of Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas. In your divine illusion (Maya), you create this entire universe.
Stanza 3: The Destroyer of Evil

महिषासुर मर्दिनी तुम, दुष्टों का संहार। भक्तों के संकट हरती, करती बेड़ा पार॥
Transliteration
Mahishasura Mardini tum, dushton ka sanhaar. Bhakton ke sankat harti, karti beda paar.
Meaning / Translation
You are the slayer of the demon Mahishasura, the destroyer of the wicked. You remove the sufferings of your devotees and lead them to salvation.

देवी भागवत कहती है, तुम ही परम सत्य। सब देवों के हृदय में, तुम्हारा ही है नृत्य॥
Transliteration
Devi Bhagavata kehti hai, tum hi param satya. Sab devon ke hriday mein, tumhara hi hai nritya.

The Devi Bhagavata Purana declares that you are the ultimate truth. In the hearts of all deities, it is your divine dance that resides.

शरण गतः पाहि मां देवी, हे जगदम्बे माता। चरणों में तेरे शीश झुके, जय जय महाशक्ति दाता॥
Transliteration
Sharan gatah paahi maa Devi, He Jagadambe Mata. Charanon mein tere sheesh jhuke, Jai Jai Mahashakti Daata.

I have come to your refuge, please protect me, O Mother of the Universe. I bow my head at your feet; Victory to you, the Giver of Great Power.
