Transliteration
Om Bhur Bhuvah Svah Tat Savitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat

We meditate on the glory of that great Lord, who has created the universe, who is worthy of worship, who is the embodiment of knowledge and light, who is the remover of all sins and ignorance. May He enlighten our intellect.

Panchamukhi roop tumhara, tej punj ati bhaari. Surya lok se aati, jag ki paalanhari.

Your five-faced form radiates an immense, brilliant light. Originating from the realm of the Sun, you are the sustainer of the entire universe.

अज्ञान तिमिर को हरती, बुद्धि का वर देती। भक्तों की तुम रक्षा करती, मंगल पथ पर लेती॥

Agyaan timir ko harati, buddhi ka var deti. Bhakton ki tum raksha karti, mangal path par leti.

You dispel the darkness of ignorance and grant the boon of wisdom. You protect your devotees and lead them upon the path of auspiciousness and righteousness.

Gayatri ki aarti jo koi nar gaave. Sukh sampati paave, manvaanchit phal paave.

Whoever sings the Aarti of Goddess Gayatri shall attain happiness and prosperity, and receive the fruits of their heart's desires.
