सावन की फुहारें, मन में हर्ष अपार। शिव-पार्वती का मिलन, आया खुशियों का त्यौहार। चारों ओर हरियाली, प्रकृति ने श्रृंगार किया, तीज के पावन पर्व ने, सबको हर्षित किया।
Transliteration
Sawan ki fuhaarein, mann mein harsh apaar. Shiv-Parvati ka milan, aaya khushiyon ka tyauhaar. Chaaron ore hariyali, prakriti ne shringar kiya, Teej ke paawan parv ne, sabko harshit kiya.
Meaning / Translation
The showers of Sawan (monsoon) bring immense joy to the heart. The union of Shiva and Parvati marks the arrival of this festival of happiness. Greenery is everywhere, nature has adorned itself, and the holy festival of Teej has delighted everyone.
Stanza 2: The Divine Union

हरी चुनर ओढ़े पार्वती, महक उठा उपवन। भोलेनाथ संग विराजे, पावन शिव का आंगन। कण-कण में गूँजे शिव नाम, भक्ति का संचार है, माता पार्वती का आज, दिव्य श्रृंगार है।
Transliteration
Hari chunar odhe Parvati, mahak utha upvan. Bholenath sang viraaje, paawan Shiv ka aangan. Kan-kan mein goonje Shiv naam, bhakti ka sanchaar hai, Mata Parvati ka aaj, divya shringar hai.
Meaning / Translation
Parvati wears a green veil, and the garden is filled with fragrance. Lord Bholenath sits beside her in the sacred courtyard of Shiva. Every atom resonates with the name of Shiva, spreading devotion, as Mother Parvati is beautifully adorned today.
Stanza 3: Celebration and Swings

पेड़ों पर झूला डला, सखियाँ गाती मल्हार। तीज की हरियाली में, बसा है शिव का प्यार। मेहंदी रची हथेलियों में, खुशबू अति सुहावन, शिव-गौरी के मिलन का, यह उत्सव पावन।
Transliteration
Pedon par jhoola dala, sakhiyan gaati malhaar. Teej ki hariyali mein, basa hai Shiv ka pyaar. Mehendi rachi hatheliyon mein, khushbu ati suhavan, Shiv-Gauri ke milan ka, yeh utsav paawan.
Meaning / Translation
Swings are hung on the trees, and friends are singing monsoon melodies. In the greenery of Teej, the love of Shiva resides. The fragrance of henna on the palms is delightful; this is the holy celebration of the union of Shiva and Gauri.
Stanza 4: Prayer for Prosperity

अखंड सौभाग्य का वरदान, शिव-शक्ति से पाएं। सुख-समृद्धि और शांति का, आशीष सदा पाएं। हे शिव-गौरी! जग का कल्याण करना, भक्तों के जीवन में, खुशियों का रंग भरना।
Transliteration
Akhand saubhagya ka vardaan, Shiv-Shakti se paayein. Sukh-samriddhi aur shaanti ka, aashish sada paayein. Hey Shiv-Gauri! Jag ka kalyan karna, Bhakton ke jeevan mein, khushiyon ka rang bharna.
Meaning / Translation
May we receive the blessing of eternal marital bliss from Shiva and Shakti. May we always receive the blessings of prosperity and peace. O Shiva and Gauri! Grant welfare to the world and fill the lives of your devotees with the colors of happiness.
