असतो मा सद्गमय । तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय । ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
Transliteration
Asato mā sadgamaya | Tamaso mā jyotirgamaya | Mṛtyormā amṛtaṃ gamaya | Om śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||
Meaning / Translation
Lead me from the unreal to the real. Lead me from darkness to light. Lead me from death to immortality. Om Peace, Peace, Peace.

ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः । तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं । भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि । धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् ॥
Transliteration
Om bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ | Tat savitur vareṇyaṃ | Bhargo devasya dhīmahi | Dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt ||
Meaning / Translation
We meditate on the glory of that Supreme Being who has produced this universe; may He enlighten our intellect and guide our thoughts.
