ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः । तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं । भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि । धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात् ॥
Transliteration
Om Bhūr Bhuvah Svah | Tat Savitur Vareṇyaṃ | Bhargo Devasya Dhīmahi | Dhiyo Yo Naḥ Pracodayāt ||
Meaning / Translation
We meditate on the glory of that Supreme Being who has created this universe; may He enlighten our intellect and guide us on the right path.

ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय । तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय । मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ॥
Transliteration
Om Asato Mā Sadgamaya | Tamaso Mā Jyotirgamaya | Mṛtyormā Amṛtaṃ Gamaya ||
Meaning / Translation
Lead us from the unreal to the real. Lead us from darkness to light. Lead us from death to immortality.

Meaning / Translation
That is whole, this is whole. From the whole, the whole becomes manifest. Taking the whole from the whole, the whole still remains.
