Transliteration
Om Asato Ma Sadgamaya | Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya | Mrityor Ma Amritam Gamaya ||
Meaning / Translation
From the unreal, lead me to the real. From darkness, lead me to light. From death, lead me to immortality.

नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः । न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः ॥
Transliteration
Nainam chindanti shastrani nainam dahati pavakah | Na chainam kledayantyapo na shoshayati marutah ||
Meaning / Translation
The soul cannot be cut by weapons, nor burned by fire. It cannot be wetted by water, nor dried by the wind.
