Refrain

Original

Transliteration

Moko kahan dhundhe re bande, main to tere paas mein.

Meaning / Translation

Where do you search for me, O seeker? I am right here beside you.

Verse 1: Rejection of External Rituals

Original

Transliteration

Na main dev mein, na main masjid mein, na Kaabe Kailash mein. Na main kriya mein, na main tap mein, na main teerthon ke vaas mein.

Meaning / Translation

I am not in the deities, nor in the mosque; I am not in Kaaba or Kailash. I am not in rituals, nor in penance, nor in the dwelling of pilgrimage sites.

Verse 2: The Presence in Faith

Original

Transliteration

Jo suni le mera avgun, soi mera daas hai. Main to basta hoon man ke bhitar, jo hriday mein vishwas hai.

Meaning / Translation

He who understands my true nature (beyond flaws) becomes my servant. I reside within the mind, where there is true faith in the heart.

Verse 3: The Oneness of All

Original

Transliteration

Sab ghat mera Ram hai, sab ghat mein mera vaas. Kan-kan mein hai noor mera, mite bhed ka aabhas.

Meaning / Translation

The Divine resides in every heart, I dwell in every vessel. My light is in every atom, and the illusion of separation vanishes.

Conclusion

Original

Transliteration

Kabir kahai suno bhai sadho, Prabhu mile ghat ke bhitar. Jo jaage so paave use, jo khoya hai nirantar.

Meaning / Translation

Kabir says, listen O seekers, the Lord is found within the inner self. He who awakens shall find Him, whom many have lost in the constant cycle of distraction.
