कार्तिके मासि संप्राप्ते यः स्नानं कुरुते नरः। सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्येत विष्णुलोकं स गच्छति॥
Transliteration
Kartike masi samprapte yah snanam kurute narah। Sarvapapaih pramucyeta Vishnulokam sa gachchhati॥
Meaning / Translation
When the month of Kartik arrives, whoever performs the sacred bath (Kartik Snan) is liberated from all sins and attains the abode of Lord Vishnu.

कार्तिकं सर्वपापघ्नं कार्तिकं मोक्षदायकम्। कार्तिके विष्णुभक्तिं च कुर्वीत प्रयत्नतः॥
Transliteration
Kartikam sarvapapaghnam Kartikam mokshadayakam। Kartike Vishnubhaktim cha kurvita prayatnatah॥
Meaning / Translation
Kartik month destroys all sins and grants liberation. One should strive with great effort to cultivate devotion to Lord Vishnu during Kartik.

कार्तिके दीपदानं यः कुरुते भक्तिसंयुतः। सर्वपापविमुक्तश्च विष्णुसायुज्यमाप्नुयात्॥
Transliteration
Kartike dipadanam yah kurute bhaktisamyutah। Sarvapapavimuktashcha Vishnusayujyam apnuyat॥
Meaning / Translation
Whoever offers lamps (Deepdaan) in Kartik month with devotion becomes free from all sins and attains union with Lord Vishnu (Vishnu Sayujya).

कार्तिके तुलसीं दृष्ट्वा स्पृष्ट्वा वन्द्य च पूजयेत्। यमदूतान् न पश्येत स विष्णुलोकमाविशेत्॥
Transliteration
Kartike Tulsim drishtva sprishtva vandya cha pujayet। Yamadutan na pashyeta sa Vishnulokam avishat॥
Meaning / Translation
In Kartik, one who sees, touches, salutes, and worships Tulsi Devi never sees the messengers of Yama (god of death) and enters the abode of Vishnu.

न कार्तिकसमो मासो न कार्तिकसमं युगम्। न कार्तिकसमा वेदा न कार्तिकसमं तपः॥
Transliteration
Na Kartikasamo maso na Kartikasamam yugam। Na Kartikasama vedah na Kartikasamam tapah॥
Meaning / Translation
There is no month equal to Kartik, no yuga equal to Kartik, no Veda equal to Kartik, and no austerity (tapas) equal to Kartik.
