Meaning / Translation
I bow to Lord Vishnu, who has a peaceful form, who rests upon the serpent, and from whose navel emerges the lotus. He is the support of the universe, vast like the sky, with a complexion like the clouds and beautiful limbs. He is the beloved of Lakshmi, with lotus-like eyes, attained by yogis through meditation; I salute the compassionate Padmanabha, who protects those who seek refuge in Him.
