Transliteration
Bodhgaya ki paavan dharti, jahan Buddha ne gyan paaya. Mahabodhi ka mandir paavan, shanti ka maarg dikhaya.
Meaning / Translation
The holy land of Bodh Gaya, where Buddha attained enlightenment. The sacred Mahabodhi temple showed the path of peace.

निरंजना नदी का तट निराला, पीपल की छाया सुखकारी। बोधि वृक्ष के नीचे बैठे, सिद्धार्थ बने जग के अधिकारी।
Transliteration
Niranjana nadi ka tat niraala, Peepal ki chhaya sukhkaari. Bodhi vriksh ke neeche baithe, Siddhartha bane jag ke adhikaari.
Meaning / Translation
The banks of the Niranjana river are unique, the shade of the Peepal tree is blissful. Sitting beneath the Bodhi tree, Siddhartha became the enlightened master of the world.

ऊँचा शिखर भव्य मंडप, कला की अद्भुत मिसाल। बुद्ध की मूरत शांत भाव में, मिटाती मन का हर मलाल।
Transliteration
Ooncha shikhar bhavya mandap, kala ki adbhut misaal. Buddha ki moorat shaant bhaav mein, mitaati mann ka har malaal.
Meaning / Translation
A high spire and grand pavilion, a wonderful example of art. The statue of Buddha in a peaceful state erases all the sorrows of the mind.

तीर्थ यात्रियों की टोली आए, नमन करें बुद्ध को बारम्बार। महाबोधि की इस महिमा से, महके सकल संसार।
Transliteration
Teerth yaatriyon ki toli aaye, naman karein Buddha ko baarambaar. Mahabodhi ki is mahima se, mahke sakal sansaar.
Meaning / Translation
Groups of pilgrims arrive, bowing to Buddha again and again. With the glory of Mahabodhi, the entire world becomes fragrant with peace.
