Mathura nagari ati paavan hai, jahaan janme Shri Krishna Kanhai. Janm bhoomi ki mahima nyaari, bhakton ke mann ko hai bhaayi.

वृंदावन की कुंज गलिन में, रास रचाए गोकुल राई। कदम्ब की छाया में रहकर, मुरली मधुर तान सुनाई।
Transliteration
Vrindavan ki kunj galin mein, raas rachaye Gokul Rai. Kadamba ki chhaya mein rehkar, murli madhur taan sunayi.
Meaning / Translation
In the narrow lanes of Vrindavan's groves, the Lord of Gokul performs his divine dance. Staying under the shade of the Kadamba trees, he plays sweet melodies on his flute.

यमुना तट पर रास रचावे, गोपी संग मन हरषावे। नन्दलाल की लीला अद्भुत, सब जग को है हर्षावे।

Yamuna tat par raas rachave, Gopi sang mann harshaave. Nandlal ki leela adbhut, sab jag ko hai harshaave.
