Transliteration
Om Namah Shivaya, Sharanam Gachchhami. Murudeshwar ke swami, He Neelkanth Mahadeva. Samudra tat par viraje, divya swaroop ati pavan.
Meaning / Translation
Om Namah Shivaya, I seek refuge. Lord of Murudeshwar, O Blue-throated Mahadeva. Seated upon the seashore, Your divine form is most sacred.

राहु की माया, लिंग का वह अद्भुत खेल। अंश गिरा इस पावन भूमि पर, शिव का अनूठा मेल। आत्मलिंग की महिमा गाए, भक्त यहाँ शीश नवाए।
Transliteration
Rahu ki maya, ling ka woh adbhut khel. Ansh gira is pavan bhoomi par, Shiv ka anutha mel. Atma Linga ki mahima gaaye, bhakt yahan sheesh nawaye.
Meaning / Translation
The illusion of Rahu and the wondrous play of the Linga. A fragment fell upon this sacred land, a unique union of Shiva's essence. Singing the glory of the Atma Linga, devotees bow their heads here.

विशाल प्रतिमा, गगन चूमती, शिव का भव्य स्वरूप। नीले सागर की लहरों में, झलके तेरा दिव्य रूप। मुरदेश्वर की ऊँचाई, भक्ति की गहराई।
Transliteration
Vishal pratima, gagan choomti, Shiv ka bhavya swaroop. Neele sagar ki lehron mein, jhalke tera divya roop. Murudeshwar ki unchai, bhakti ki gehrai.
Meaning / Translation
The massive statue, touching the sky, the magnificent form of Shiva. Amidst the waves of the blue sea, Your divine form shines. The heights of Murudeshwar reflect the depths of devotion.

दर्शन पाकर मिटते पाप, मन में आए शांति अपार। शिव पूजन, अभिषेक और आरती, करते हम बारंबार। हे महादेव! कृपा करो, भक्त चरणों में वास करो।
Transliteration
Darshan paakar mitte paap, mann mein aaye shanti apaar. Shiv poojan, abhishek aur aarti, karte hum baarambaar. He Mahadev! Kripa karo, bhakt charnon mein vaas karo.
Meaning / Translation
Upon seeing You, sins are erased, and infinite peace enters the mind. We perform Shiva worship, abhisheka, and aarti repeatedly. O Mahadev! Show Your grace, and dwell within the feet of Your devotees.
