Transliteration
Pitru Devo Bhava, Pitru Loka Vasinaha.<br>Shraddha Bhakti Sanmarge, Tarpaye Tarpaye.
Meaning / Translation
May the ancestors be as gods, the residents of the Pitru Loka (ancestral realm). Through the path of faith and devotion, I offer these oblations.

Transliteration
Pitru Paksha ka paavan samay, purvajon ka smaran.<br>Shraddha karma se praapt ho, moksha ka paavan charan.
Meaning / Translation
The holy period of Pitru Paksha is a time for remembering our ancestors. Through the sacred rites of Shraddha, may they attain the divine steps toward liberation (Moksha).

Tarpan Arpan Pinda Daan, Jal Arpan ka Vidhan.<br>Shraddha bhaav se arpit karein, purvajon ka samman.
Meaning / Translation
The rituals of Tarpana, the offering of Pinda, and the tradition of offering water. With an essence of deep devotion, we perform these to honor our ancestors.

Pitru dosha se mukti mile, shanti mile apaar.<br>Deva loka mein vaas ho, sukhi rahe parivaar.
Meaning / Translation
May we be liberated from Pitru Dosha (ancestral afflictions), and may immense peace descend. May the ancestors reside in the divine realms, and may the entire family remain blessed and happy.
