Meaning / Translation
I bow to Lord Shiva, who is as white as camphor, the incarnation of compassion, the essence of worldly existence, who wears the king of serpents as a garland, and who ever resides in the lotus of the heart, together with Goddess Bhavani (Parvati).

Meaning / Translation
I salute Lord Vishnu, who has a peaceful countenance, who sleeps on the serpent, who has a lotus emerged from his navel, who is the Lord of Devas, who is the support of the universe, who is as vast as the sky, who is dark like the clouds, and whose limbs are beautiful. I bow to the Lord of Lakshmi, the lotus-eyed one, who is reached by yogis through meditation, who destroys the fear of worldly existence, and who is the sole Lord of all worlds.
