Brahma Gayatri Mantra

ॐ महतने विद्महे, हिरण्यगर्भाय धीमहि, तन्नो ब्रह्मा प्रचोदयात्।

Transliteration

Om Mahatane Vidmahe, Hiranyagarbhaya Dhimahi, Tanno Brahma Prachodayat.

Meaning / Translation

Om, let us meditate on the Great One, the Golden Womb; may Brahma, the Creator, enlighten our intellect and guide us.

Vishnu Mantra

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya.

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥

Transliteration

Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti-Vardhanam | Urvarukamiva Bandhanan Mrityormukshiya Maamritat ||

Meaning / Translation

We worship the Three-eyed One (Shiva), who is fragrant and nourishes all living beings. Just as a ripe cucumber is effortlessly released from its vine, may He liberate us from the bond of death and lead us to immortality.
