सत्य, त्रेता, द्वापर, कलि, युगों का है खेल। समय का चक्र घूमता, नियति का है मेल। धर्म का पतन होता, अधर्म बढ़ता जाए, जब युग का अंत निकट हो, महाकाल मुस्काए।
Transliteration
Satya, Treta, Dvapara, Kali, yugon ka hai khel. Samay ka chakra ghoomta, niyati ka hai mel. Dharma ka patan hota, adharma badhta jaaye, Jab yuga ka ant nikat ho, Mahakala muskaaye.
Meaning / Translation
Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kali—it is the play of the ages. The wheel of time turns, the convergence of destiny. As righteousness declines and unrighteousness grows, When the end of the era approaches, Mahakala smiles.

प्रलय की अग्नि जब जागे, जग का अंत पुकारे। शिव का तांडव नृत्य करे, शून्य में सब समाए। नभ, धरा और अंतरिक्ष, सब भस्म हो जाएँ, महाकाल के भाल पर, काल की लहरें आएँ।
Transliteration
Pralaya ki agni jab jaage, jag ka ant pukaare. Shiva ka Tandava nritya kare, shunya mein sab samaaye. Nabh, dhara aur antariksh, sab bhasm ho jaayein, Mahakala ke bhaal par, kaal ki lahrein aayein.
Meaning / Translation
When the fire of dissolution awakens, it calls for the end of the world. Shiva performs the Tandava dance, and all merges into the void. Sky, earth, and space, all turn to ashes, As the waves of time wash over the forehead of Mahakala.

शून्य से फिर सृष्टि जन्मे, नए काल का उदय हो। महाकाल की शक्ति से, पुनः जीवन का उदय हो। चक्र चलता रहे निरंतर, सत्य का ही आधार, महाकाल ही आदि है, महाकाल ही विस्तार।

Shunya se phir srishti janme, naye kaal ka uday ho. Mahakala ki shakti se, punah jeevan ka uday ho. Chakra chalta rahe nirantar, Satya ka hi aadhaar, Mahakala hi aadi hai, Mahakala hi vistaar.
