नंदीघोष रथ पर जगन्नाथ विराजे, बलभद्र और सुभद्रा संग साजे। तालध्वज और दर्पदलन भी चले, भक्ति के सागर में सब मिले।
Transliteration
Nandighosa rath par Jagannath viraje, Balabhadra aur Subhadra sang saaje. Taladhwaja aur Darpadalan bhi chale, Bhakti ke saagar mein sab mile.
Meaning / Translation
Lord Jagannath sits upon the Nandighosa chariot, beautifully adorned alongside Balabhadra and Subhadra. The chariots Taladhwaja and Darpadalan also set forth, as everyone merges into the ocean of devotion.

Puri ki galiyon mein dhoom machi hai, Shraddha ki lahar chaaron aur uthi hai. Shankh aur ghanton ki goonj niraali, Mahima tumhari hai sabse matwaali.

गुंडिचा धाम की ओर बढ़ते कदम, भक्त पुकारें प्रभु को हर दम। रथ खींचने का पुण्य फल पाऊं, चरणों में आपके शीश झुकाऊं।
Transliteration
Gundicha dhaam ki aur badhte kadam, Bhakt pukaarein prabhu ko har dam. Rath kheechne ka punya phal paaun, Charnon mein aapke sheesh jhukaun.
Meaning / Translation
The steps move towards the Gundicha abode, as devotees call upon the Lord at every moment. May I attain the merit of pulling the chariot, and may I bow my head at Your lotus feet.
