ब्रह्ममुहूर्ते जाग्रतव्यं, पवित्रं स्नानं करणीयम्। मनसा शुद्धं वाचं च, सत्यं सदा च भाषयेत्॥
Transliteration
Brahma-muhurte jagratavyam, pavitram snanam karaniyam. Manasa shuddham vacham cha, satyam sada cha bhashayet.
Meaning / Translation
One must awaken during the Brahma Muhurta (the auspicious pre-dawn hours) and perform a purifying bath. With a pure mind, one must always speak the truth.

दीपं प्रज्वलित्य देवस्य, ध्यानं करणीयं नित्यशः। तपः स्वाध्याय संयमं, धर्म मार्गे च चलितव्यम्॥
Transliteration
Deepam prajvalitya devasya, dhyanam karaniyam nityashah. Tapah swadhyayayam samyam, dharma marge cha chalitavyam.
Meaning / Translation
After lighting the lamp for the Divine, one should perform meditation daily. Through austerity, self-study, and self-control, one must walk the path of Dharma (righteousness).

अहिंसा परमो धर्मः, सेवा धर्मो हि मानवस्य। क्रोधं त्यक्त्वा दयां धृत्वा, शान्तिं प्राप्तुं प्रयत्नयते॥
Transliteration
Ahimsa paramo dharmah, seva dharmo hi manavasya. Krodham tyaktva dayam dhritva, shantim praptum prayatnayate.
Meaning / Translation
Non-violence is the highest duty; service is the essential duty of humanity. By abandoning anger and embracing compassion, one strives to attain peace.

पितृदेवो भव, मातृदेवो भव, आतिथ्यं च सदा कुर्यात्। गुरुदेवो भव, श्रद्धा युक्तं, जीवनं सार्थकं भवेत्॥
Transliteration
Pitridevo bhava, Matridevo bhava, atithyam cha sada kuryat. Gurudevo bhava, shraddha yuktam, jeevanam sarthakam bhavet.
Meaning / Translation
Treat your father as God, your mother as God, and always practice hospitality to guests. Respect your Guru as God; a life lived with such faith becomes meaningful.
