ॐ जय जगदीश हरे, स्वामी जय जगदीश हरे । भक्त जनों के संकट, क्षण में दूर करे ॥
Transliteration
Om jai jagadisha hare, swami jai jagadisha hare. Bhakta jana ke sankata, kshana men dura kare.
Meaning / Translation
Om, victory to the Lord of the Universe, Hari (Vishnu), O Master, victory to the Lord of the Universe. You remove the troubles of Your devotees in an instant.

जो ध्यावे फल पावे, दुःख बिनसे मन का । सुख सम्पति घर आवे, कष्ट मिटे तन का ॥
Transliteration
Jo dhyave phal pave, duhkha binase mana ka. Sukha sampati ghara ave, kashta mite tana ka.
Meaning / Translation
Whoever meditates on You attains the fruit (of devotion); the sorrow of the mind is destroyed. Happiness and prosperity come to the home; the afflictions of the body are removed.

मात-पिता तुम मेरे, शरण गहूं मैं किसकी । तुम बिन और न दूजा, आस करूं मैं जिसकी ॥
Transliteration
Mata-pita tum mere, sharan gahun main kiski. Tum bin aur na duja, as karun main jiski.
Meaning / Translation
You are my mother and father; whose refuge else should I take? Without You there is no other; upon whom else should I place my hope?

तुम पूरण परमात्मा, तुम अन्तर्यामी । पारब्रह्म परमेश्वर, तुम सबके स्वामी ॥
Transliteration
Tum purana paramatma, tum antaryami. Parabrahma parameshvara, tum sabake swami.
Meaning / Translation
You are the Perfect Supreme Soul, the Inner Controller (Antaryami). You are the Supreme Brahman, the Supreme Lord, the Master of all.

तुम करुणा के सागर, तुम पालनकर्ता । मैं मूरख खल कामी, कृपा करो भर्ता ॥
Transliteration
Tum karuna ke sagara, tum palanakarta. Main murkha khala kami, kripa karo bharta.
Meaning / Translation
You are the ocean of compassion, the Sustainer. I am foolish, wicked, and lustful; O Master, bestow Your grace.

तुम हो एक अगोचर, सबके प्राणपति । किस विधि मिलूं दयामय, तुमको मैं कुमति ॥
Transliteration
Tum ho eka agochara, sabake pranapati. Kis vidhi milun dayamaya, tumko main kumati.
Meaning / Translation
You are the One Imperceptible, the Lord of all beings' lives. By what method can I, of dull intellect, meet You, O Merciful One?

दीनबन्धु दुखहर्ता, ठाकुर तुम मेरे ।\nअपने हाथ उठाओ, द्वार पड़ा तेरे ॥
Transliteration
Dinabandhu duhkhaharta, thakura tum mere. Apne hath uthao, dvara pada tere.
Meaning / Translation
O Friend of the humble, Remover of sorrows, You are my Lord. Raise Your hand (in blessing), for I lie at Your door.

विषय विकार मिटाओ, पाप हरो देवा । श्रद्धा भक्ति बढ़ाओ, संतन की सेवा ॥
Transliteration
Vishaya vikara mitao, papa haro deva. Shraddha bhakti badhao, santana ki seva.
Meaning / Translation
Destroy the distortions of sense-objects, remove sins, O God. Increase faith and devotion, and grant service to the saints.

तन मन धन सब कुछ है, तेरा स्वामी । तेरा तुझको अर्पण, क्या लागे मेरा ॥
Transliteration
Tana mana dhana sab kuch hai, tera swami. Tera tujhko arpana, kya lage mera.
Meaning / Translation
Body, mind, wealth — all is Yours, O Master. Offering Yours to You, what remains as mine?

जगदीश्वर आरती, जो कोई नर गावे । कहत शिवानन्द स्वामी, सुख सम्पति पावे ॥
Transliteration
Jagadishvara arti, jo koi nara gave. Kahat Shivananda swami, sukha sampati pave.

Whoever sings the aarti of the Lord of the Universe, says Swami Shivananda, attains happiness and prosperity.
