अग्निमीले पुरोहितं यज्ञस्य देवमृत्विजम् | होतारं रत्नधातमम् ।
Transliteration
Agnimīle purohitaṃ yajñasya devamṛtvijam | Hotāraṃ ratnadhātamam
Meaning / Translation
Agni is the priest, the god and the sage of the sacrifice, the invoker and the giver of treasure.

स सर्पः शुचिरानङ्गः सप्तद्वीपवसुन्धरः | यस्याम्भसि सप्त स्वर्णाः ।
Transliteration
Sa sarpaḥ śucirānaṅgaḥ saptadvīpavasundharaḥ | Yasyāmbhasi sapta svarṇāḥ
Meaning / Translation
That serpent is pure and bodiless, the support of the seven islands and the seven golden mountains, in whose waters are the seven golden treasures.

स सर्पः शुचिरनृतः केशवद्रुपदो महात्मा | विष्णुस्त्वमदितिस्त्वं विष्णुस्त्वमिन्द्रः ।
Transliteration
Sa sarpaḥ śuciranṛtaḥ Keśavadṛpado mahātmā | Viṣṇustvamaditistvaṃ viṣṇustvamindraḥ
Meaning / Translation
That serpent, who is pure and truthful, whose form is that of Keśava, great in soul, you are Viṣṇu, you are Aditi, you are Viṣṇu, you are Indra.

स सर्पो हरितो वेदो यो दधार पृथिवीं महान् | तेन द्यामपृथिवी अनतः ।
Transliteration
Sa sarpo harito vedo yo dadhāra pṛthivīṃ mahān | Tena dyāmapṛthivī anataḥ
Meaning / Translation
That green serpent, who is the Veda, who holds the great earth, by him the heaven and earth are supported.

उप नः सर्प दधातु भेषजम् | शिवम् योर् भेषजम् शिवम् ।
Transliteration
Upa naḥ sarpa dadhātu bheṣajam | Śivam yor bheṣajam śivam
Meaning / Translation
Approach us, O serpent, and give us healing medicine, that medicine is auspicious and beneficial.

अप सर्पः शुचिर्भगो भेषजो भेषजम् | शिवम् योर् भेषजम् शिवम् ।
Transliteration
Apa sarpaḥ śucirbhago bheṣajo bheṣajam | Śivam yor bheṣajam śivam
Meaning / Translation
Away, O serpent, pure and fortunate, healing and medicine, that medicine is auspicious and beneficial.
