अम्बे तू है जगदम्बे काली, जय दुर्गे खप्पर वाली। तेरे ही गुण गाएँ भारती, ओ मैया हम सब उतारें तेरी आरती॥
Transliteration
Ambe tu hai jagdambe kali, Jai durge khappar wali. Tere hi gun gaaye Bharati, O Maiya hum sab utaare teri aarti.
Meaning / Translation
O Mother Ambe, you are the Jagdamba (Mother of the Universe), the fierce Kali. Victory to Durga, the one who holds the skull-cup. Even the Goddess of Wisdom (Bharati) sings your praises; O Mother, we all perform your aarti.

तेरे भक्त जनों पर माता, संकट है भारी। दानव दल पर टूट पड़ो माँ, करके सिंह सवारी॥
Transliteration
Tere bhakt jano par Mata, sankat hai bhaari. Danav dal par toot pado Maa, karke singh sawari.
Meaning / Translation
O Mother, your devotees are facing great calamities and hardships. Please descend upon the armies of demons, riding upon your lion.

तू ही है जग की जननी माता, तू ही है जग की दाता। सब के दु:ख मिटाने वाली, जय दुर्गे खप्पर वाली॥
Transliteration
Tu hi hai jag ki janani Mata, tu hi hai jag ki daata. Sab ke dukh mitaane waali, Jai durge khappar wali.
Meaning / Translation
You alone are the Mother and Creator of the world, and you alone are the Provider of the world. You are the one who erases all sufferings; Victory to Durga, the one who holds the skull-cup.

हम सब शरण तुम्हारी आए, रख लो अपनी छाया। चरणों में तेरे शीश झुकाकर, माँ तेरी आरती गाया॥
Transliteration
Hum sab sharan tumhari aaye, rakh lo apni chhaya. Charnon mein tere sheesh jhukakar, Maa teri aarti gaaya.
Meaning / Translation
We have all come to seek refuge in you; please keep us under your divine protection. Bowing our heads at your holy feet, Mother, we sing your aarti.
