ॐ स्कन्दं स्कन्दकरं वन्दे स्कन्दसूतं स्कन्दसम्भवम्। स्कन्दशक्तिं स्कन्दरूपं स्कन्दनाथं स्कन्दम्॥
Transliteration
Om Skandam Skandakaram Vande Skandasutam Skandasambhavam. Skandashaktim Skandarupam Skandanatham Skandam॥
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Skanda, the doer of Skanda's work, the son of Skanda, born of Skanda; the power of Skanda, the form of Skanda, the lord of Skanda, Skanda himself.

शक्तिधरं शिखिवाहनं षडाननं षड्कर्मकृत्। सर्वसेनापतिं देवं स्कन्दं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥
Transliteration
Shaktidharam Shikhivahanam Shadananaṁ Shadkarmakrit. Sarvasenapatim Devam Skandam Pranamamyaham॥
Meaning / Translation
I salute Lord Skanda, the commander of all armies, who holds the spear (Shakti), rides the peacock, has six faces, and performs the six duties (creation, preservation, destruction, etc.).

गुहं गुह्यतमं ब्रह्म गुह्यरूपं गुहाशयम्। गुह्यगुह्यतरं देवं स्कन्दं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥
Transliteration
Guham Guhyatamam Brahma Guhyarupam Guhashayam. Guhyaguhyataram Devam Skandam Pranamamyaham॥
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Skanda, the secret one, the most secret Brahman, of secret form, dwelling in the cave of the heart, the most hidden of the hidden.

कुमारं कुमारश्रेष्ठं कुमारकर्मकर्त्रे च। कुमाररूपिणे नित्यं कुमाराय नमो नमः॥
Transliteration
Kumaram Kumarasreshtham Kumarakarmakartre Cha. Kumara rupine Nityam Kumarya Namo Namah॥
Meaning / Translation
Salutations again and again to the eternal youth (Kumara), the best of youths, the doer of youthful deeds, of youthful form.

त्रिपुरारिं त्रिपुरान्तकं त्रिपुरं त्रिपुरेश्वरम्। त्रिपुराघ्नं त्रिपुरं देवं स्कन्दं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥
Transliteration
Tripurariṁ Tripurantakam Tripuram Tripureshvaram. Tripuraghnam Tripuram Devam Skandam Pranamamyaham॥
Meaning / Translation
I salute Skanda, the enemy of Tripura, the destroyer of Tripura, the lord of Tripura, the slayer of Tripura — the god who destroyed the three cities of the demons.

सर्वविघ्नविनाशं च सर्वशत्रुविनाशनम्। सर्वरोगहरं देवं स्कन्दं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥
Transliteration
Sarvavighnavinasham Cha Sarvashatruvinashanam. Sarvarogaharam Devam Skandam Pranamamyaham॥
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Lord Skanda, the destroyer of all obstacles, the destroyer of all enemies, the remover of all diseases.

विद्यां ददाति विद्यार्थी धनं ददाति धनार्थिने। पुत्रं ददाति पुत्रार्थी मोक्षं ददाति मोक्षकामिने॥
Transliteration
Vidyam Dadati Vidyarthi Dhanam Dadati Dhanarthine. Putram Dadati Putrarthi Moksham Dadati Mokshakamine॥
Meaning / Translation
He grants knowledge to the seeker of knowledge, wealth to the seeker of wealth, a son to the seeker of a son, and liberation to the seeker of liberation.

एतत् स्कन्दस्तोत्रं पुण्यं पठेद्भक्त्या नरो नरः। सर्वसिद्धिं अवाप्नोति स्कन्दप्रसादतः शुभम्॥
Transliteration
Etat Skandastotram Punyam Pathedbhaktaya Naro Narah. Sarvasiddhim Avapnoti Skandaprasadatah Shubham॥
Meaning / Translation
Any man or woman who recites this holy Skanda Stotra with devotion attains all perfections by the grace of Skanda.

स्कन्दगायत्रीमन्त्रेण जपेद्यस्तु प्रयत्नतः। सर्वपापविमुक्तो भवेत्स्कन्दसायुज्यमाप्नुयात्॥
Transliteration
Skandagayatrimantrena Japed yastu Prayatnatah. Sarvapapavimukto Bhavet Skandasa yujyam Apnuyat॥
Meaning / Translation
One who chants the Skanda Gayatri mantra with effort becomes free from all sins and attains union with Skanda.

ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महासेनाय धीमहि। तन्नः स्कन्दः प्रचोदयात्॥
Transliteration
Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahe Mahasenaya Dhimahi. Tannah Skandah Prachodayat॥
Meaning / Translation
Om, we meditate on the Supreme Person (Tatpurusha), the Great Commander (Mahasena); may Skanda inspire and illumine our intellect.

शड्मुखाय नमस्तुभ्यं शक्तिहस्ताय शोभने। सर्वसिद्धिप्रदायिनं स्कन्दं प्रणमाम्यहम्॥
Transliteration
Shadmukhaya Namastubhyam Shaktihastaya Shobhane. Sarvasiddhipradayinam Skandam Pranamamyaham॥
Meaning / Translation
Salutations to you, six-faced one, beautiful holder of the Shakti; I bow to Skanda, the bestower of all accomplishments.

इति श्रीस्कन्दपुराणे काशीखण्डे स्कन्दस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्।
Transliteration
Iti Shri Skanda Purane Kashi Khande Skanda Stotram Sampurnam॥
