हिरण्यवर्णां हरिणीं सुवर्णां भृंगीं त्रिलोचनम् । चलं कुलीरं बुद्धिमतीं लक्ष्मीं साधय माम् ॥ १ ॥
Transliteration
hiraṇyavarṇāṃ hariṇīṃ suvarṇāṃ bhṛṅgīṃ trilocanam | calaṃ kulīraṃ buddhimatīṃ lakṣmīṃ sādhaya māṃ || 1 ||
Meaning / Translation
May I attain Goddess Lakshmi, who is of golden hue, beautiful like a deer, shining like gold, adorned with bright ornaments, possessing three eyes, ever-moving, and full of wisdom.

तां ममाग्रतां चक्षुषा समीक्षस्व चक्षुष्मन्तं रम्यां महालक्ष्मीं कोशघ्नीं विष्णुवक्षःस्थिताम् । श्रीपूर्वां भगं धेहि तदस्माकं गृहं सदा ॥ २ ॥
Transliteration
tāṃ mamāgratāṃ cakṣuṣā samīkṣasva cakṣuṣmantaṃ ramyaṃ mahālakṣmīṃ kośaghnīṃ viṣṇuvakṣahsthitaṃ | śrīpūrvāṃ bhagaṃ dhehi tadasmākaṃ gṛhaṃ sadā || 2 ||
Meaning / Translation
O Lord, look upon me and behold the beautiful, great Lakshmi, the provider of wealth, who resides on the chest of Lord Vishnu. Grant us this foremost prosperity and let it dwell in our home forever.

क्षीरसमुद्रतनयाम् सुवर्णमयीं महालक्ष्मीं च मे देहि प्रजां च मे देहि ॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration
kṣīrasamudratanayām suvarṇamayīṃ mahālakṣmīṃ ca me dehi prajāṃ ca me dehi || 3 ||
Meaning / Translation
O Daughter of the Ocean of Milk, who is composed of gold, grant me the Great Lakshmi and bless me with progeny and abundance.

उग्रं वीरं महाविष्णुं ज्वलन्तं सर्वतोमुखम् । नृसिंहं भृगुवंशजं तं लक्ष्मीं प्रपद्येऽहम् ॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration
ugraṃ vīraṃ mahāviṣṇuṃ jvalantaṃ sarvatomukham | nṛsiṃhaṃ bhṛguvaṃśajaṃ taṃ lakṣmīṃ prapadye'ham || 4 ||
Meaning / Translation
I surrender to the Lakshmi who is associated with the fierce and heroic Maha-Vishnu, who shines in all directions, and with the Narsimha who descended from the lineage of Bhrigu.

ādityavarṇāṃ suvarṇamayīṃ mahālakṣmīṃ ca me dehi |
Meaning / Translation
O Goddess, who has the brilliance of the Sun and is made of gold, grant me the Great Lakshmi.
