महाभारत की कथा महान, कृष्ण सुनाते ज्ञान का दान। धर्म की रक्षा, अधर्म का नाश, यही है जीवन का सच्चा प्रकाश।
Transliteration
Mahabharata ki katha mahaan, Krishna sunate gyan ka daan. Dharma ki raksha, adharma ka naash, yahi hai jeevan ka saccha prakash.
Meaning / Translation
The story of Mahabharata is great, Krishna imparts the gift of wisdom. To protect righteousness and destroy unrighteousness, this is the true light of life.

कौरव और पांडव का द्वंद्व हुआ, सत्ता का भीषण संघर्ष हुआ। न्याय की खातिर धर्म की जंग, कुरुक्षेत्र में रचा गया रंग।
Transliteration
Kaurav aur Pandav ka dwandv hua, satta ka bhishan sangharsh hua. Nyay ki khatir dharma ki jang, Kurukshetra mein racha gaya rang.
Meaning / Translation
A conflict arose between the Kauravas and the Pandavas, a fierce struggle for power. A war of righteousness for the sake of justice, the scene was set upon the field of Kurukshetra.

अर्जुन मोह में डूबा था, रणभूमि में द्वंद्व में था। तब केशव ने गीता सुनाई, मोह की सारी गाँठें खुलवाई।
Transliteration
Arjun moh mein dooba tha, ranbhoomi mein dwandv mein tha. Tab Keshav ne Gita sunayi, moh ki saari gaanthe khulwayi.
Meaning / Translation
Arjuna was drowned in attachment, caught in a dilemma on the battlefield. Then Keshav (Krishna) recited the Gita, unraveling all the knots of delusion.

कर्म करो फल की चिंता न करो, यही सार प्रभु ने दिया। सत्य की राह पर अडिग रहो, जीवन का असली ज्ञान यही सिखाया।
Transliteration
Karma karo phal ki chinta na karo, yahi saar Prabhu ne diya. Satya ki raah par adig raho, jeevan ka asli gyan yahi sikhaya.
Meaning / Translation
Perform your duty without worrying about the fruits, this is the essence the Lord gave. Remain steadfast on the path of truth, this is the real knowledge of life he taught.
