ग्वाल बाल सब मिलि मिलि आये, मुख पर माखन लायो। मैया मोरी मैं नहीं माखन खायो॥
Transliteration
Gwaal baal sab mili mili aaye, mukh par maakhan laayo. Maiya mori main nahin maakhan khaayo.
Meaning / Translation
All the cowherd boys came together and smeared butter on my face. O Mother, I did not eat the butter.

दही की मटकी फोड़ि दई है, सब सखा मिलि मिलि भाग गये। मैया मोरी मैं नहीं माखन खायो॥
Transliteration
Dahi ki matki phodi dai hai, sab sakha mili mili bhaag gaye. Maiya mori main nahin maakhan khaayo.

The pot of curd has been broken, and all my friends have run away together. O Mother, I did not eat the butter.

मैया मैं तो यशोदा मैया, नन्दनन्दन यशोदा मैया। नाहिं मैं माखन चोर नहीं हूँ, सब सखा बोलत हैं मैया॥
