मन को वश में कर जो, स्थिर हो जाए ध्यान में, इंद्रियों को जीत कर, जो लीन रहे आत्म-ज्ञान में। चित्त की चंचलता त्यागे, जो एकाग्रता को पाए, वही शांति का मार्ग सुलभ, ईश्वर के समीप जाए।
Transliteration
Man ko vash mein kar jo, sthir ho jaye dhyan mein, Indriyon ko jeet kar, jo leen rahe atma-gyan mein. Chitta ki chanchalta tyage, jo ekagrata ko paye, Wahi shanti ka marg sulabh, Ishwar ke sameep jaye.
Meaning / Translation
One who controls the mind and becomes steady in meditation, conquering the senses to dwell in self-knowledge, abandons the restlessness of the mind to find concentration; such a person finds the easy path to peace and approaches the Divine.

न शस्त्र इसे काट सके, न अग्नि इसे जलाए, न जल इसे भिगो सके, न वायु इसे सुखाए। अविनाशी है यह आत्मा, न जन्म है न मृत्यु, सत्य का यह स्वरूप है, शाश्वत और प्रबुद्ध।
Transliteration
Na shastra ise kaat sake, na agni ise jalaye, Na jal ise bhigoye sake, na vayu ise sukhaye. Avinashi hai yeh Atma, na janm hai na mrityu, Satya ka yeh swaroop hai, shashwat aur prabuddh.
Meaning / Translation
Weapons cannot cut it, fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, and wind cannot dry it. The soul is indestructible, without birth or death; it is the form of Truth, eternal and enlightened.

सुख-दुःख में जो रहे समान, कर्म करे बिना फल की आस, वही योग का ज्ञाता है, जो मन में रखे विश्वास। न राग न द्वेष, न मोह न अहंकार, समत्व ही है मार्ग, परम शांति का द्वार।
Transliteration
Sukh-dukh mein jo rahe saman, karm kare bina phal ki aas, Wahi yoga ka gyata hai, jo man mein rakhe vishwas. Na raag na dwesh, na moh na ahankar, Samatvam hi hai marg, param shanti ka dwar.
Meaning / Translation
He who remains equal in pleasure and pain, performing actions without expectation of fruits, is the true knower of Yoga who holds faith in his heart. Free from attachment, aversion, delusion, and ego, equanimity is the path and the gateway to supreme peace.

सर्वभूतस्थमात्मानं, सर्वभूतानि चात्मनि। यः पश्यति समाधौ, सोऽहमहं न संशयः॥
Transliteration
Sarvabhutasthamātmanam, sarvabhūtāni chātmani. Yah pashyati samadhau, so-hamaham na sanshayah.
Meaning / Translation
He who, in the state of Samadhi, sees the Self in all beings and all beings in the Self, truly realizes 'I am That' (Soham) without any doubt.
