माया शक्ति अति मायावी, सत्य छिपाती जग की काया। एक ब्रह्म को अनेक दिखाए, भ्रमित करे यह जग की छाया।
Transliteration
Maya shakti ati mayavi, satya chipati jag ki kaya. Ek brahma ko anek dikhaye, bhramit kare yeh jag ki chhaya.
Meaning / Translation
The power of Maya is extremely illusory, it hides the truth of the world's form. It makes the One Brahman appear as many, and confuses us with the shadow of this world.

इंद्रिय जाल में फँसाया मन, दृश्य जगत है मिथ्या आभास। क्षणभंगुर सब रूप और रंग, मिट जाता है जब ज्ञान का प्रकाश।
Transliteration
Indriya jaal mein phasaya mann, drishya jagat hai mithya aabhas. Kshanbhangur sab roop aur rang, mit jata hai jab gyan ka prakash.
Meaning / Translation
The mind is trapped in the net of the senses; the visible world is a false appearance. All forms and colors are transient, and they vanish when the light of knowledge shines.

'मैं' और 'मेरा' का जो मोह है, माया का ही खेल निराला। अहंकार के परदे के पीछे, छिपा हुआ है ब्रह्म उजाला।
Transliteration
'Main' aur 'mera' ka jo moh hai, maya ka hi khel nirala. Ahankar ke parde ke peeche, chipa hua hai brahma ujala.
Meaning / Translation
The attachment to 'I' and 'mine' is the unique play of Maya. Behind the veil of ego, the light of Brahman remains hidden.

हे जगदम्बा! माया को हर लो, सत्य का दर्शन हमें करा दो। अज्ञान का अंधकार मिटाकर, आत्म-बोध का मार्ग दिखा दो।
Transliteration
Hey Jagdamba! Maya ko har lo, satya ka darshan humein kara do. Agyan ka andhkar mitakar, aatm-bodh ka marg dikha do.
Meaning / Translation
O Mother of the Universe! Take away this Maya and grant us the vision of Truth. Destroy the darkness of ignorance and show us the path to self-realization.
