वन्दे तुलसीं सुभद्राम्, विष्णुवल्लभां शुभाम् । सर्वपापप्रणाशिनीं, श्रीराधा प्रियां नमः ॥
Transliteration
Vande Tulsim Subhadram, Vishnuvallabham Shubham | Sarvapaapapranaashinim, Shri Radha Priyam Namah ||
Meaning / Translation
I bow to the auspicious Tulsi, the beloved of Lord Vishnu, the remover of all sins, and the dear one of Shri Radha.
Significance of the Tulsi Mala

न विना तुलसीं विष्णोः, कार्यं सिद्धं न संशयः । यस्य हस्ते तु माला च, तस्य मोक्षोऽपि निश्चितः ॥
Transliteration
Na vina Tulsim Vishnoh, karyam siddham na sanshayah | Yasya haste tu mala cha, tasya moksho'pi nishchitah ||
Meaning / Translation
Without Tulsi, the service to Lord Vishnu is never complete; there is no doubt. He who holds the Tulsi mala in his hand is certainly destined for liberation (Moksha).

Meaning / Translation
By maintaining purity and serving with deep devotion, and by wearing the Tulsi mala, one attains peace and is freed from all worldly sufferings.
