Trishur ki paavan bhoomi par, Vadakkunnathan ka vaas hai, Shiv ke is divya mandir mein, bhakton ka atoot vishwas hai.

भस्म रमी है अंग पे जिनके, मस्तक चंद्र विराजे, गंगा की धार जटाओं से, शिव के रूप में साजे।
Transliteration
Bhasma rami hai ang pe jinke, mastak Chandra viraaje, Ganga ki dhaar jataon se, Shiv ke roop mein saaje.
Meaning / Translation
Whose body is smeared with sacred ash, and whose forehead is adorned with the Moon; the stream of Ganga flows from His matted hair, decorating the form of Shiva.
