शान्ताकारं भुजगशयनं पद्मनाभं सुरेशं विश्वाधारं गगनसदृशं मेघवर्णं शुभाङ्गम्। लक्ष्मीकान्तं कमलनयनं योगिभिर्ध्यानगम्यं वन्दे विष्णुं भवभयहरं सर्वलोकैकनाथम्॥
Transliteration
Śāntākāraṃ bhujagaśayanaṃ padmanābhaṃ sureśaṃ viśvādhāraṃ gaganasadṛśaṃ meghavarṇaṃ śubhāṅgam | lakṣmīkāntaṃ kamalanayanaṃ yogibhirdhyānagamyaṃ vande viṣṇuṃ bhavabhayaharaṃ sarvalokaikanātham ||
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Lord Vishnu, who has a peaceful form, who rests on the serpent, who has a lotus emerging from His navel, who is the Lord of the Gods, who is the support of the universe, who is as all-pervading as the sky, who is dark as a rain cloud, whose limbs are auspicious, who is the beloved of Lakshmi, whose eyes are like lotuses, who is reached by yogis through meditation, and who removes the fear of worldly existence, being the sole Lord of all worlds.

Transliteration
Viśvaṃ viṣṇurvaṣaṭkāro bhūtabhavyabhavatprabhuḥ | bhūtakṛdbhūtabhṛdbhāvo bhūtātmā bhūtabhāvanaḥ ||
Meaning / Translation
He is the Universe, He is Vishnu, He is the sacrificial offering (Vashatkara), He is the Lord of the past, present, and future; He is the Creator, the Sustainer, the Essence of all beings, and the Evolver of all existence.

पूतात्मा परमात्मा च मुक्तानां परमा गतिः। अव्ययः पुरुषः साक्षी क्षेत्रज्ञोऽक्षर उच्यते॥
Transliteration
Pūtātmā paramātmā ca muktānāṃ paramā gatiḥ | avyayaḥ puruṣaḥ sākṣī kṣetrajño'kṣara ucyate ||
Meaning / Translation
He is the Pure Soul, the Supreme Soul, the ultimate goal of the liberated, the Imperishable, the Primeval Being, the Witness, the Knower of the field (body/soul), and is known as the Imperishable.

योगो योगविदां नेता प्रधानपुरुषेश्वरः। नारसिंहवपुः श्रीमान् केशवः पुरुषोत्तमः॥
Transliteration
Yogo yogavidāṃ netā pradhānapuruṣeśvaraḥ | nārasimha-vapuḥ śrīmān keśavaḥ puruṣottamaḥ ||
Meaning / Translation
He is the Master of Yoga, the leader of those who know Yoga, the Lord of both Prakriti (matter) and Purusha (spirit), He who has the form of Narasimha, the Auspicious One, Keshav (the one with beautiful hair/slayer of Keshi), and the Supreme Being.

सर्वः शर्वः शिवः स्थाणुर्भूतादिर्निधिरव्ययः। सम्भवो भावनो भर्ता प्रभवः प्रभुरीश्वरः॥
Transliteration
Sarvaḥ śarvaḥ śivaḥ sthāṇurbhūtādirnidhiravyayaḥ | sambhavo bhāvano bhartā prabhavaḥ prabhurīśvaraḥ ||
Meaning / Translation
He is All, He is the Auspicious Destroyer, He is the Unchanging, He is the Origin of all beings, He is the inexhaustible Treasure, He is the source of existence, the Sustainer, the Manifestor, the Powerful, and the Supreme Lord.

इति श्रीविष्णवस्रनामाकं स्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्। य इदं श्रोतवत्पठित्वा मनुष्यो यत्प्रयत्नतः। सर्वपापविमुक्तो भवति सर्वसुखमवाप्नुयात्॥
Transliteration
Iti śrīviṣṇusahasranāmākaṃ stotraṃ sampūrṇam | yad idaṃ śrotavatpaṭhitvā manuṣyo yatprayatnataḥ | sarvapāpavimukto bhavati sarvasukhamavāpnuyāt ||
Meaning / Translation
Thus ends the sacred hymn of the thousand names of Vishnu. Whoever listens to or recites this with devotion and effort will be liberated from all sins and attain all forms of happiness.
