योग न केवल देह का व्यायाम है, अपितु आत्मा का परमात्मा से मिलन है। चित्त वृत्ति निरोधः योगः॥
Transliteration
Yoga na keval deh ka vyayam hai, apitu aatma ka paramatma se milan hai. Chitta vritti nirodhah yogah.
Meaning / Translation
Yoga is not merely physical exercise of the body, but rather the union of the individual soul with the Supreme Soul. Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind.
