तस्य सान्निध्यं गुरूणाम् । गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णुः । गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । गुरुः साक्षात्परमब्रह्म । तस्मै श्रीगुरवे नमः
Transliteration
Tasya saannidhyam guruunaam, Gururbrahmaa gururvishnuh, Gururdevo maheshvarah, Guruh saakshaatparamabrahm, Tasmai shriigurave namah
Meaning / Translation
The proximity of the guru is the proximity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshvara. The guru is the supreme absolute, and I bow to that guru

यमस्तपस्तथा विद्या नियमस्तथा व्रतानि । यथा सुखं तथा दुःखं यथा मृत्युरथ मोक्षः
Transliteration
Yamastapastathaa vidyaa niyamastathaa vrataani, Yathaa sukham tathaa duhkham yathaa mrityuratha mokshah
Meaning / Translation
Control, austerity, knowledge, rules, and vows; pleasure and pain, death and liberation - all are the same

प्राणायामश्च विविध्रécा योगश्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः । ध्यानं परमशांतिर्भगवद्भक्तिर्मोक्षदा

Praanaayaamashcha vividhreca yogashchittavrittinirodhah, Dhyaanam paramashaantirbhagavadbhaktirmokshadaa

Breath control, various postures, and the restraint of the mind's modifications; meditation, supreme peace, and devotion to the divine, which grants liberation

सर्वभूतेषु येन सर्वं विजानाति । तद्ब्रह्म तद्विद्या तद्योगस्तदात्मा
Transliteration
Sarvabhuuteshu yena sarvam vijaanaati, Tadbrahma tadvidyaa tadyogastadaatmaa
Meaning / Translation
That which knows all beings and everything, that is Brahma, that is knowledge, that is yoga, that is the self
