ॐ अग्निदेवताय नमः। अग्निः प्रथमः पुरुषः, जगतः प्राणस्वरूपः। अग्निदेवं नमामि॥
Transliteration
Om Agnidevataaya Namah. Agnih prathamah purushah, jagatah prana-swarupah. Agnidevam namami.
Meaning / Translation
Salutations to the Fire Deity. Agni is the primordial being, the very life-essence of the universe. I bow to Lord Agni.

यज्ञस्य देवमग्निमीळे पुरोहितं होमस्य सूतम्। देवदूतं ऋतस्य गीतम्॥
Transliteration
Yajnasya devam agnim ile purohitam homasya sutam. Devadutam ritasya gitam.
Meaning / Translation
I invoke Agni, the God of sacrifice, the high priest of the ritual, the conductor of the oblation, the messenger of the Gods, and the singer of the cosmic truth (Rta).

प्रकाशरूपं तेजस्विनं, पावकं सर्वपापहारकम्। अग्निदेवं नमामि सदा॥
Transliteration
Prakasharupam tejasvinam, pavakam sarva-papa-harakam. Agnidevam namami sada.
Meaning / Translation
O Form of pure light, O Radiantly shining one, O Purifier who destroys all sins, I bow to you always, Lord Agni.

हमारी आहुति स्वीकार करो, देवों तक सन्देश पहुँचाओ। अंधकार मिटाओ, प्रकाश लाओ॥
Transliteration
Hamari ahuti swikar karo, devon tak sandesh pahunchao. Andhkar mitao, prakash lao.
Meaning / Translation
Accept our sacred offerings and carry our prayers to the Devas (Gods). Remove the darkness (ignorance) and bring forth the light (wisdom).
