नमामि शिवं नीलकण्ठं, जटाधरात्मानं त्रिलोचनम्। कल्याणकारी करुणासागरं, भक्तवत्सलं जगत्पतिम्॥
Transliteration
Namāmi śivaṃ nīlakaṇṭhaṃ, jaṭādharātmānaṃ trilocanam. Kalyāṇakārī karuṇāsāgaraṃ, bhaktavatsalaṃ jagatpatim॥
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Lord Shiva, the blue-throated one, the one with matted hair and three eyes. The bringer of auspiciousness, the ocean of compassion, the lover of devotees, and the Lord of the Universe.

नमामि शक्तिं जगदम्बाम्, सर्वशक्तिमयीं परमेश्वरीम्। आदिमाया जगत् जननी, दुःख विनाशिनी जगत् स्वरामिनी॥
Transliteration
Namāmi śaktiṃ jagadambām, sarvaśaktimayīṃ parameśvarīm. Ādimāyā jagat jananī, duḥkha vināśinī jagat svarāminī॥
Meaning / Translation
I bow to Shakti, the Mother of the World, the all-powerful Supreme Goddess. The primordial Maya, the mother of the universe, the destroyer of sorrows, and the radiant splendor of the cosmos.

कश्यप ऋषि की पावन भूमि, जहाँ बहती है वितस्ता। शिव-शक्ति का वास यहाँ, महिमा है अनन्त अगाध॥
Transliteration
Kashyapa r̥ṣi kī pāvana bhūmi, jahāṃ bahatī hai vitastā. Śiva-śakti kā vāsa yahāṃ, mahimā hai ananta agādha॥
Meaning / Translation
The holy land of Sage Kashyapa, where the Vitasta (river Jhelum) flows. Here resides Shiva and Shakti; their glory is infinite and profound.

अर्धनारीश्वर स्वरूप तुम्हारा, शिव-शक्ति का मिलन महान। सृष्टि का आधार तुम दोनों, तुम ही हो सकल जग का प्राण॥
Transliteration
Ardhanārīśvara svarūpa tumhārā, śiva-śakti kā milana mahāna. Sṛṣṭi kā ādhāra tum dono, tum hī ho sakala jaga kā prāṇa॥
Meaning / Translation
Your form is Ardhanarishvara, the magnificent union of Shiva and Shakti. You both are the foundation of creation, the very life-breath of the entire world.

जो भी गाए यह स्तोत्र भक्ति से, शिव-शक्ति कृपा पावे मन। संकट मिटें और शांति मिले, पावन हो जीवन का कण-कण॥
Transliteration
Jo bhī gāye yaha stotra bhakti se, śiva-śakti kṛpā pāve mana. Saṅkaṭ miṭeṃ aura śānti mile, pāvana ho jīvana kā kaṇa-kaṇa॥
Meaning / Translation
Whoever sings this hymn with true devotion, the mind shall receive the grace of Shiva and Shakti. Obstacles shall vanish, peace shall prevail, and every particle of life shall be purified.
