नानक देव की महिमा भारी, जग में फैलाया सत्य की न्यारी। द्वैत भाव को दूर भगाकर, एकत्व का मार्ग दिखाया।
Transliteration
Nanak Dev ki mahima bhaari, jag mein failaya satya ki nyaari. Dwait bhaav ko door bhagakar, ekatva ka maarg dikhaya.
Meaning / Translation
The glory of Guru Nanak is immense; he spread the unique light of Truth throughout the world. By removing the sense of duality, he showed the path to Oneness.

नाम जपो, कीरत करो, वंड छको का उपदेश। सेवा भाव से मिट जाए, मन का सारा क्लेश।
Transliteration
Naam japo, kirat karo, vand chhako ka updesh. Seva bhaav se mit jaaye, mann ka saara klesh.

Chant the Divine Name, work honestly, and share with others—these are his teachings. Through the spirit of selfless service, all the afflictions of the mind are removed.
